Whyalla Career Expo

Over 300 job seekers and school students attended the 2010 Whyalla Career Expo organised by the Whyalla Economic Development Board and funded through the Whyalla Employment and Skills Formation Network via South Australia Works in the Regions funding.  

Local employers, training organisations and service providers were on hand to provide information to attendees about Career pathways, Skills and training and future employment opportunities.

The Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council of Australia were also in attendance and provided attendees the opportunity to attend 2 workshop sessions on new web based learning for the industry and Baptist Care SA and Salvation Army Employment Plus offered Mock Interviews to attendees.

The event was held at the Uni SA Whyalla Campus and was a very successful event for all.
